WARRANTY:
If you need to make a warranty claim or have a complaint, your ZOLA dealer is your point of contact. ZOLA dealers have the right information, spare parts, and can help you quickly.
At ZOLA, we extend the statutory warranty to 5 years on materials and construction. We also offer a 1-year warranty on installation work, covering leaks and defects. See the installation terms and conditions for more information.
Aluminum has a deflection tolerance of up to 12 mm, while textiles have a shrinkage tolerance of 3 mm per linear meter. Deflections or shrinkage within this tolerance are not covered by any warranty.
Warranty conditions
We care about our products and do our utmost to deliver them to you in top condition. However, sometimes something happens that may entitle you to a warranty claim.
Under European law, we are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery of the goods. You may have additional rights under Dutch law.
If you discover or should discover a defect in the product, you must contact us upon delivery.
The warranty period begins upon purchase in a store. The original receipt serves as proof of warranty. The warranty covers construction and material defects that are already present upon delivery. Damage caused by improper or unskilled use, such as abnormal loads, damage from aggressive substances, improper maintenance, repairs by unskilled personnel, covering structures, improper assembly, as well as natural properties inherent to the material, and damage caused by failure to comply with the instructions for use (hang tag) or failure to comply correctly with them, is excluded.
Further excluded are:
- Defects that can be traced back to normal wear and tear or extreme weather conditions;
- In case of aluminum scratches due to use
- In steel, rust forms from within due to condensation, among other things
- With aluminium and textiles, slight discolouration, signs of wear and reduced load-bearing capacity over time with normal use.
- Damage caused by the use of cleaning/protective agents
- The warranty only applies to normal private, domestic use.
- Subsidence of objects, piers, foundations.

For DIY kits, ZOLA is not responsible for the disassembly, assembly, or repair of parts that were incorrectly delivered, are defective, or exhibit color discrepancies. It is the buyer's responsibility to assemble and inspect the products correctly.
Product coatings can always show color variations, both between different products and between parts of the same product. Minor visual deviations are not covered by the warranty . Any complaints about coating or color deviations will be handled exclusively through the primary repair option, such as recoating or replacement of individual parts.
Maintenance
Our structures don't require any maintenance; thanks to the use of high-quality aluminum, our products are low-maintenance. When necessary, you can wipe the aluminum with a damp cloth and soapy water to clean it. You can clean the roof with a (retractable) chamois. We recommend cleaning your canopy at least twice a year.
