Warranty and Service

WARRANTY:

If you want to make a claim under the guarantee or have a complaint, the ZOLA dealer is your point of contact. ZOLA dealers have the right information, have spare parts and can help you quickly.

At ZOLA we extend the legal guarantee to 5 years on the materials and construction. For the assembly work we use a guarantee period of 1 year on leaks and deviations. For more information see the assembly conditions.

Aluminium has a deflection tolerance of maximum 12 mm, textile has a shrinkage tolerance of 3 mm per linear meter. Deflections or shrinkage within this tolerance are not covered by any warranty arrangements.

Warranty conditions

We care about our products and do our utmost to deliver them to you in top condition. However, sometimes something happens that entitles you to a warranty claim.

Under European law, we are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery of the goods. You may have additional rights under Dutch law.

If you discover or should discover a defect in the product, you must contact us upon delivery.

The warranty period commences at the time of purchase in the store. The original receipt serves as proof of warranty. The warranty covers construction and material faults that are already present upon delivery. Excluded from this are damage caused by incorrect or unskilled use such as abnormal loads, damage by aggressive substances, incorrect maintenance, repairs by unskilled persons, covering of constructions, incorrect assembly, as well as natural properties that belong to the material and damage caused by failure to observe or incorrect observance of the instructions for use (hangtag).

Further excluded are:

  • Defects that can be attributed to normal wear and tear or extreme weather conditions;
  • In case of aluminum scratches due to use
  • In steel, rust forms from the inside due to condensation, among other things.
  • With aluminium and textiles, slight discolouration, signs of use and reduced load-bearing capacity over time with normal use.
  • Damage caused by the use of cleaning/protective agents
  • The warranty only applies to normal private, domestic use.
  • Subsidence of objects, piles, foundations.

Maintenance

Necessary maintenance does not apply to our constructions, due to the use of high-quality aluminium our products are low-maintenance. When necessary, you can wipe the aluminium with a damp cloth with soapy water to clean it. You can clean the roof using a (retractable) chamois. We advise you to clean your canopy at least twice a year.
