Is a louvered roof resistant to rain?
Yes, the slats of a slatted roof provide a waterproof deck when closed. Rainwater is drained via the slat profiles to the uprights.
Do I need a permit for a louvered roof?
No, a slatted patio cover in the backyard usually does not require a permit. However, do you want to place a cover at the front of your home, such as a carport? Then often no permit is required, but it is wise to always check this with the municipality. They can provide you with the correct information and conditions.
Should I install my veranda myself or have it done by a specialist?
Of course it is possible to assemble your outdoor space yourself. All our products are delivered as a kit, complete with clear assembly instructions and instruction videos.
